  Got seated quickly and server was friendly, food was subpar at best. Chicken and dumplings were extremely salty, the sweet potato casserole reminded me of baby food but the squash casserole was pretty good. The dinner rolls were the best part of the meal, not hardly worth nearly $15. Reminded me of a TV dinner.

  What can one expect from the state of inbreds? Go to McDonald's instead. The food there might kill you but at least the corporation McDonald's got the taste right. Jesus Christ. What does a fellow have to do to find a proper mom and pops place that actually knows how to cook. What the hell was these people's parents teaching them growing up?

  Walked in the door. Young lady walks up and aND leaves to ask another worker whose turn it was to take the order. Then seats us and gets us our drink very quickly. My cup had a broken chip in the top which is a big nono. The Spanish cornbread was dry and uterly discusting. The 9 dollar bacon cheese burger was a 5 dollar bacon cheese burger from hardees bassicaly. The music was not country as succpected from the name Dixie Cafe but instead old and new Rock. Besides all of that considered, I'm never coming back just due to the lack of excitement of anyone there to make us feel welcome and at a Country Restraint which should mostly imply on Courtesy and Friendship. The foof was good and drinks were ok. Still the fact that down the road I could eat and drink the same thing way cheaper, yet better with better service.....
